Syston Cons B rounded off their season in style with a comprehensive 4-0 victory away to Carington Arms at the Melton British Legion.  The away side emphatically outscored their opponents throughout the evening despite resting several regulars with all but one of the Syston side managing 21 or more on the night with Jeff Baker, Roger Sharpe and Dave Clark sharing top scoring honours with 24 apiece.  Carington almost salvaged a consolation in the final leg but ultimately fell one pin short.  Curtis Connolly was the only Carington player to achieve a score of 20.

Carington Cons extended their recent unbeaten run to four games after sharing the points following a fine 2-2 draw away to third placed Syston Social Club.  In so doing, Carington registered their sixth draw of a frustrating season.  In a tight game, the home side took the opening leg before the visitors edged legs 2 and 3 by small margins to lead 2-1.  Unfortunately, they were unable to sustain their form and fell away in the final leg to allow the home side to draw level.  Matt Kirk and Graham Stockdale top scored for Carington with 22 apiece while Ken Renshaw hit 24 for the Social.

Queniborough Wanderers confirmed a mid table finish with an excellent 4-0 victory away to bottom side Sileby WMC.  Only League Champions Wymeswold Cons have bettered the four leg aggregate posted by the away side over the course of the season and the home side had no answer to the consistent scoring from the visitors.  Colin Pembleton top scored for Queniborough with 23 and was ably supported by Alan Whitmee with 22 and Mick Reed with 21.

Top House and Barrow Cons both notched up their sixth draws of the season after sharing the points in a 2-2 draw in Thurmaston.  The visitors struggled on the notoriously low scoring alley despite taking the opening leg and soon found themselves 2-1 behind.  However, some consistent scoring in the final leg allowed them to level the scores on the night as the home side finished the season with just two wins from eight games on their home alley.  Brian Holmes top scored for the home side with 23 while Scott Price was the only Barrow player to achieve 20 on the night.
